The results of the 31st annual Eddie Cochran Weekend Car Show were recently released. Winners took home trophies from a variety of categories, such as Top 3 Best Fins, Top 3 Flatheads and Top 10 Old School Cars, among others.

Four local organizations named personal favorites, as well. Wes Childe was picked for Best in Show by the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Freeborn County Historical Museum named Stephanie Johnson its favorite with her 1938 Chevy Master Deluxe. The Riverland Award went to Marlene and Gary Bergeson for their 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix. The Mayor’s Award was given to Larry Tulle for his 1957 Ford Custom 300.
