Area students graduate

Area students graduated from University of Iowa. Those include Benjamin Mathews of Lake Mills who received a doctorate in medicine; Raymond Nielsen of Lake Mills who received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology; and Nathan Stadheim of Albert Lea who received a Bachelor of Business in finance.

Albert Lea student listed on dean’s list

Luke Sundblad of Albert Lea was on the dean’s list for Minnesota State University Moorhead.

To qualify, students must be in a degree-seeking status and maintain a GPA of 3.25 or higher average while completing a minimum of 12 graded credits.

Scholarship awarded to New Richland student

Emily King of New Richland was awarded a scholarship to St. Scholastica in Duluth.

King was accepted to start the fall of 2017.

Area students listed on dean’s list

Sam Moyer and Sydney Rehnelt have been listed on the dean’s list at Luther College.

Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and must complete 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades.
