Jeffrey Dahl, 1963-2017

A memorial gathering will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday for Jeffrey A. Dahl of Albert Lea at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Jeff died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 54.

Jeff was born Jan. 16, 1963, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of Allan and Lois (Greengo) Dahl.

He graduated from Albert Lea High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He spent time in Virginia while in the service and then in Wisconsin, eventually coming back to Albert Lea, where he was employed as an independent trucker owning his own truck.

In his free time he loved to play golf, go mushrooming, play Frisbee golf and spend time working on his cars.

Jeff is survived by his parents Allan and Lois Dahl of Albert Lea; sister, Linda Knudsen (Dan Lee), of Albert Lea; brother, Troy (Tubb) Dahl, of Albert Lea; daughter, Jenna Dahl, of Morristown; son, Adam (Heather) Dahl, of Fenton, Michigan; four grandchildren; longtime great friend, Marlin Espe, of Albert Lea; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother-in-law, Brian Knudsen.
