Ascension youth donate to food shelves

- Ascension youth donated to the Salvation Army Food Shelf and the Ecumenical Food Shelf at Presbyterian Church. Hy-Vee worked with the Food Bank and had coupons to make Hamburger Helper and Progresso soup available at a reasonable price. The youth bought 1,680 boxes of Hamburger Helper and 750 cans of soup to split between the two food shelves. LeAnn Knutson and Dorothy Simonsen from the Ecumenical Board came to thank the children. - Provided
