Lori Hermanson

Lori Lynn was born on Dec. 26, 1959, to parents Kenneth D. and Maryann S. (Norby) Hermanson in Albert Lea. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1978. Lori went on to graduate from Michael’s School of Cosmetology and later earned her Associate of Arts degree in psychology and social services from Austin Community College in 1991. Lori was employed by Dinah’s Style. She absolutely loved her job and referred to it as her dream job.

Most cherished in Lori’s life were her family, friends and her cat, Nikki.  She welcomed family and friends for countless hours of visiting on her deck, sharing great conversation and many unforgettable laughs. Throughout her battle with cancer, she never failed to create fun. Lori loved wildlife and was entertained by “her” ducks and geese that visited her every day, and on occasion, deer. In addition to long, scenic drives, she loved good flea markets and secondhand shops. Finding a bargain was a serious point of joy for Lori. Her laughter will be forever remembered by all who knew her.
