Garage fire reported
A garage fire was reported before 5 a.m. Wednesday at 10851 Main St., Gordonsville.
Upon arriving, deputies reportedly found the renter of the property, Dustin James Weber, 37, throwing small buckets of water in a small detached garage. The deputy saw fire coming from the garage and smoke from the roof.
The deputy helped Weber eradicate the fire, and Glenville and Myrtle fire crews helped extinguish it.
Weber, who was welding in the garage at the time the fire began, was not injured.
1 arrested on warrant
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Karl Lionel Olson, 48, on a Mower County warrant at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at 84229 140th St., outside Glenville. Olson was turned over to the Mower County Sheriff’s Office.
Theft, break-in reported
A counterfeit $50 bill was reported at 9:19 a.m. Tuesday at 309 E. Main St., Clarks Grove.
A break-in was reported at 10:13 a.m. Monday at 479 Main St., Emmons. The incident allegedly occurred the previous night.

Albert Lea Police Department logs from Tuesday to Wednesday were unavailable at press time.
