A man was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after something reportedly hit him in the back Friday at the Glenville elevator, 210 U.S. Highway 65.
The man, who reportedly sustained at least one injury deemed not life-threatening, was working in an overflow area near an auger when he was struck by something in the back, according to Sgt. Keith Bolinger of the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported at 1:58 p.m.
The name of the man has not been released.
Counterfeit money reported
A $100 counterfeit bill was reported at 8:02 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Albert Lea police logs from Thursday to Friday were unavailable at press time.
