The Retired Educators of Albert Lea will meet at noon Thursday  at the American Legion, according to a press release. 

Brad Kirchner, business banking relationship manager of U.S. Bank in Albert Lea and  chairman of the local Heritage Preservation Commission, will speak about the recent state preservation conference in Albert Lea and local preservation efforts. 

Those wishing to attend, but have not been called, may make a reservation  by calling Ann Berry.

Donations will be collected for teacher grants through the Albert Lea Education Foundation.  Those wishing to volunteer as a Salvation Army bell ringer on Dec. 7 at Hy-Vee may  do so at the meeting or by calling Berry at 373-6004.
