Jeryl “Jerry” Hanson passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with heart failure. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery in Buffalo.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Nellie Hanson; sister, LaVonne Adams; and brothers-in- law Floyd Woolson and Lee Wick.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of eight years, Ann; children Jeff (Kate Clancy) Hanson, Jeryl Hanson, John Hanson, Jim (Tara) Hanson, Jason Hanson and Jennifer (Pete) Przepiora; stepchildren Joe (Taryn) Bullert, Nancy (Steve) Eklund, John (Candy) Bullert and Suzy (John) Volden; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers; six sisters; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
