Two people from Kansas were injured Thursday night on an icy portion of Interstate 35 south of Albert Lea.
Barbara and Joseph Janisch, both of Wichita, Kansas, were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
They were reportedly riding north in a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado near mile marker 2, when Barbara Janisch reportedly lost control of the pickup, and the truck went into the ditch and rolled.
Both people were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor.
