Albert Lea police have released the name of the man who died Monday night after his vehicle crashed into a ditch on Hammer Road.

Jason Kraft, 45, of Albert Lea was driving a 2012 Ford Escape shortly after 8:30 p.m., when the vehicle reportedly left the roadway between Paradise Road and Sorensen Road and rolled in the south ditch.

Police said Kraft was not wearing a seat belt, and alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.

No other information has been released.
