Students with the Albert Lea robotics team pack up food to donate to the Salvation Army. In nine days, teacher Ken Fiscus said the students collected 735 pounds of food and raised $2,300. Fiscus said it was the smallest amount of food he has seen donated, but “by far the most money.” Fiscus said money donations are helpful because the Salvation Army may have more buying power, and it also cuts down on issues related to expired food or food that may be difficult to transport. –
