The Albert Lea boys’ hockey team will have a Roy Nystrom appreciation night during its next home game on Tuesday against Faribault.

Nystrom will be honored on the ice along with his wife, Jan. He will then drop the ceremonial faceoff puck.

Nystrom was at the helm of the boys’ hockey team for 45 years before deciding to retire after the 2016-17 season.
