Theft by fraud through stolen checks was reported at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday at 816 St. Thomas Ave.

A theft of $300 in cash was reported at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday at 404 Fountain St.

Checks were reportedly passed on a false account at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of St. Thomas Avenue.

Identity theft regarding fraudulent new accounts was reported at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday at 1501 Seath Drive.

Albert Lea police cited Adam John Churchill, 33, for misdemeanor theft after a theft in progress was reported at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.

A business was reported broken into at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday at 131 Main St., Emmons. No items were missing, and there was no damage inside the facility.

A gas drive-off in the amount of $38 was reported at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday at 611 U.S. Highway 65 in Glenville.
