2 injured in crash in Faribault County

Two Kiester residents were injured Friday morning in a rollover crash on an icy and snowy patch of Minnesota Highway 22 in Faribault County.

Alexander Payne Robertson, 25, and Mary Jane Parker, 14, were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Robertson was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan west on Highway 22 when the vehicle lost control, entering a ditch, rolling and landing on its roof at about 7:45 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Robertson was a passenger in the vehicle.

Alaxander Joseph Parker, 16, Jadon Parker, 7, David Ruhnau, 10, and Zachary Sobaski, 5, were passengers in the vehicle who were not injured.

Kiester ambulance and fire crews, Wells ambulance and Faribault County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
