Hotdish tasting event planned

The Big Freeze will host a hotdish tasting event from 5 to 6 p.m. at The Interchange in Albert Lea.
According to a press release, participants will be able to see how their hotdishes stack up to the competition by bring in a 9-by-13 inch pan of their best hotdish between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m Feb. 3 to compete. Judges will taste the entries between 5 and 6 p.m.
Registration is required. For a registration form, stop by the Albert Lea Visitors and Convention Bureau or The Big Freeze Facebook page. Registration forms, along with the registration fee of $20, is due by Feb. 1.
Judges will award prize packages for the top three winners.
