Lori Jean Lebeck, 54, of Minnetonka passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, amongst her family, friends and children. She had a long fight with cancer and battled it with every piece of strength she had in her. She came to Arizona to visit her children Alec and Marisa for the holidays, was hospitalized for a couple weeks and then moved to hospice care, where she passed hours later.

Lori Lebeck

Lori was born Jan. 22, 1963, in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School.

Lori loved being outside, listening and singing to her favorite music, and especially talking about and spending time with her kids. She was an amazing mother to two kids, Marisa and Alec, whom she cherished with every ounce in her. Lori was an inspiration to many — the typical life expectancy for the specific cancer she was diagnosed with was three to six months, yet she lived over 3 1/2 years. Even among her own battles, she was still her kind, loving and uplifting self to others going through their own battles. She truly put others first, even when she was battling so much herself.
