Mock trial victorious

The Albert Lea High School mock trial team defeated a strong Waseca team 218-210 on Wednesday at Brown County Courthouse in New Ulm. Along with the victory, coach Neil Chalmers was thrilled to report that Albert Lea students received high praise from both New Ulm community members the team met, as well as from the judges. New Ulm community members praised the students for their politeness and good manners. In the courtroom the team was praised for the courteous and respectful treatment of its opponents. - Provided
