Upon arriving, Way reportedly offered contradicting information about where he was coming from, initially saying he was coming from work but later stating he was coming from a friend’s house.

Way was reportedly driving a 2008 Honda Pilot the wrong way on East Main Street when he struck a 2016 Honda Accord driven by Kari Roisen of Albert Lea.

Roisen was taken to the hospital with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

A settlement conference is scheduled April 5, and a jury trial is scheduled April 24, if the case has not been settled by then.
