Duplicate Bridge

Duplicate Bridge was played by 11 teams on Jan. 23. Winners were Vandy Newman and Bud Higgins, first place; John Laurie and Barb Rofshus, second place; Gail and Ray Schmidt, third place; Joyce Crowe and Millie Seiver, fourth place; Carolyn Higgins and Cleo Osmondson, fifth place; and Edna Knobbe and Rick Stoup, sixth place.

Duplicate Bridge was played by 13 teams on Jan. 24. Winners were Loren Cleland and Bud Higgins, first place; Larry Crowe and Rick Stroup, second place; Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz, third place; Vandy Newman and Ron Peters, fourth place; Romelle Enderson and Bonnie Fritz, fifth place; and Dave Ring and Orrin Roisen, sixth place.

Duplicate Bridge is played at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and non and Wednesdays. Players come from Adams, Austin, Albert Lea, Rose Creek, Northwood and Mason City, Iowa. All bridge players are welcome to come and play.
