1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Shyler James Luecht, 25, for second-degree driving while intoxicated after a suspicious person was reported at 3:17 a.m. Wednesday at 69002 270th St. outside Alden.

2 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Derrick Jacqueay Roberson, 39, on a Steele County warrant and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation during a traffic stop at 9:24 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 251 and 820th Avenue.

Police arrested LeRoy Shane Williams Jr., 20, on a Mower County warrant after a suspicious person was reported at 9:58 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Fountain Street and North Third Avenue. Williams was taken to Petrans.

Cards stolen

Thefts of a driver’s license and debit card were reported at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday at 65930 180th St. outside Alden. The incident allegedly occurred in May 2014. A suspect was identified.

Child abuse/neglect reported

Two child abuse/neglect reports were filed at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday in Freeborn County.
