The Albert Lea farmers market will host its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 20 at Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea.

The local farmers market is a nonprofit group that supports and assists local producers in marketing their products more efficiently and profitably and provides customers, according to a press release.

Vendors can sell vegetables, fruits, baked goods, eggs, jams and jellies, bedding plants, flowers, local crafts, meats and pickles, according to state regulations.

The local farmers market is open from 3:30 to 5:30 every Wednesday at the municipal parking lot on North Broadway and from 9 a.m. to noon at the Northbridge Mall every Saturday from mid-May through October.
