Makayla Vangen and Cody Darcy of Freeborn announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle (Flaskerud) Vangen of Ellendale and Chip Vangen of Freeborn. She is a 2014 graduate of NRHEG High School.

The groom is the son of Tina Robran of Freeborn and Kevin Darcy of New Richland. He is a 2015 graduate of NRHEG.

A July 14, 2018, wedding is planned.
