The Blue Earth River Conference of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Association spring event will be April 7 at Salem Lutheran Church, 115 N. Washington Ave in Albert Lea. Central Freeborn Lutheran Church Women will co-host the event.

Registration, coffee and fellowship will begin at 8 a.m. The program will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and lunch will not be served. Registration is $7.

The theme is “All Anew: Growing in Faith.” The keynote speaker will be Tim O’Shields, who is the minister of music, worship and arts at First Lutheran in Albert Lea. Updates from Good Earth Village, Lutheran Disaster Response and Lutheran Social Services The Reach program will be presented. There will be more displays and exhibits to visit during the registration/coffee hour and after the event.

Offerings will be designated to the Women of the ELCA, Lutheran Social Services and Lutheran United States Disasters Response.

Those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring an offering of a hand, face or bath towel for The Reach program.
