Albert Lea Airport Manager Jim Hanson said the plane’s left flap was impacted and propellers were damaged. He compared the incident to a minor collision between two vehicles. It did not have to be reported to the Federal Aviation Administration or the National Transportation Safety Board.

The plane is reportedly in Schulz’s hangar at the airport.

Hanson said he cannot remember a similar landing occurring at the airport.
