Dorothy Mae (Arneson) Westland, 91, of Minneapolis passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. 

She was born April 25, 1926, in Clarks Grove

She was preceded in death by husband, Luverne; grandson, Brian Westland; and siblings Alton Arneson, Arlene Jensen, Carol Westland and Marion Frydenlund.

She is survived by son, Roger Westland (Nancy); daughter, Cindy Stevens (Jerry); son, David Westland (Brenda); daughter, Sharon Franklin (Mark); grandchildren Jennifer Fournier (Mike), Rebecca Westland, Kristy Stevens, Kori Morehead (Taylor), Lindsey Mehran (Masam), Megan and Kirsten Westland, Derek and Tanner Knight, Lauren Webber (Jake), and Erin and Sam Franklin; great-grandchildren Rachel and Jeremy Frankki, Briley and Brady Whittenburg, Keira and Riley Morehead, and Aryana, Parsa and Shapur Mehran; and nieces, nephews and friends.

The family extends their thanks to all of the caregivers at Minnehaha Senior Living, especially Kormassa and Mimi for their loving care of Dorothy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. April 28  at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S. in Minneapolis. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Pleasant View. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
