Funeral services for Howard Carl Friedrich of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland.

The Rev. Paul Andre will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Olaf Cemetery in New Richland.

Howard died Saturday, April 7, 2018, in his winter home in Mesa, Arizona. He was 91. Howard and his wife, Marie, were the past owners of Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland.

Howard is survived by his children Larry (Cynthia) Friedrich of St. Peter and Mary Ann (Thomas) Kramer of Granite Falls. Also surviving are granddaughters Laura Eyre of Austin, Heather (Dylan) Hooper of Nikiski, Alaska, and Rebecca (Christopher) DeVries of Wahpeton, North Dakota; grandsons Jeremy (Chris) Kramer of Owatonna and Colin Kramer of Woodbury; sister, Margie Friedrich, of Worthington; eight great-granddaughters, Lindsey, Brittney, Madison and Gabrielle Kramer of Owatonna, Ellie Eyre of Austin, Emily and Leah DeVries of Wahpeton, and Morgan Hooper of Nikiski; and four great-grandsons, Samuel Eyre of Austin, Brady DeVries of Wahpeton, Aiden Pecks of LeMars, Iowa, and Jackson Hooper of Nikiski.
