Interstate 90 west of Blue Earth has reopened to motorists, though the Minnesota Department of Transportation states travel is not advised.
The interstate was closed Saturday morning and reopened at about 10 a.m, according to a twitter post from the state agency.
“Highways remain snow covered, so motorists should use caution,” the post stated.
Interstate 90 from Blue Earth east through Albert Lea are listed as partially covered in snow and ice, as is Interstate 35 from the Iowa border through the Ellendale exit.
