Q: What grade are you in?

A: 12th grade.

Q: What town do you live in, and which school do you attend?

A: I have lived in Albert Lea my whole life, and I attend ALHS.

Q: Who’s your immediate family?

A: My mom, Sandy; my father, Mike; and my sister, Kayla.

Q: Which sports do you play?

A: Cross country, basketball and track-field.

Q: What is your favorite part of playing your sport?

A: I love the meets and being able to hangout with great people.

Q: What has playing that sport taught you?

A: This sport has taught perseverance. You are going to have bad jumps and times, but you need to push through.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Trying pole vault for the first time.

Q: Which game are you looking forward to most this year?

A: I can’t wait for Big Nine. It’s a great meet to see amazing athletes.

Q: How did you get started in your sport?

A: My friend Dora convinced me to try it.

Q: What sports did your family members play?

A: Kayla – tennis, Mom – volleyball, Dad – track and hockey.

Q: What are your sports-related achievements?

A: My most memorable was clearing my first night at pole vault, and competing at the varsity level.

Q: What are your sports-related goals?

A: I want to drop most of my times by a couple seconds. I would also like to make my last year as fun as possible.

Q: What are your college plans? Major?

A: I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and I plan on majoring in biology with a pre-physician assistant track.

Q: What is your favorite school subject?

A: My favorite subject is calculus.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher?

A: My favorite teacher is Margo Wayne.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I love to hangout with my friends and watch Netflix.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut.

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: My favorite TV show is “New Girl.”

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?

A: I once got a perm in the seventh grade because I wanted wavy hair.
