Retirement didn’t slow him down. In addition to all of his projects around the house and working in his garden, Ken enjoyed taking road trips throughout the country to visit family and friends. He was also an active member of the Eagles Club.

While he lived in Minnesota most of his life, he took great pride in his Finnish heritage and his Upper Peninsula, Michigan “Yooper” upbringing.

Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Lahti; his daughter, Kristi (Charles) Lahti-Johnson; son, Michael; sister, Donna; and grandchildren Emma and Owen Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Concordia Pickerel Lake Lutheran Church or to the family.
