Thefts, damage reported

A lock was reportedly cut off a trailer at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Mill Street and South Washington Avenue.

A report of a theft was filed at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday at 2129 Highland Ave.

Damage at a residence was reported at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday at 2812 Campus Lane.

A break-in to a garage was reported at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday at 317 Lakeview Boulevard. A Stihl leaf blower valued at $130 was reported stolen.

A theft report was filed at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday in Albert Lea.

 

1 arrested after chase

Albert Lea police arrested Joseph Manasseh Johnson, 24, for fleeing in a motor vehicle, possessing a small amount of marijuana, speeding and driving after suspension during a traffic stop at 10:57 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East Main Street.
