Bernice B. Mobry, 83, a resident of Oak Park Place of Albert Lea, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

She was born March 9, 1935, to Bernard and Bertina Diesman in Geneva.

She married Phillip L. Stenseth in 1952 and together they had two sets of twins. She later married Sonny Abrego, and together they had one set of twins. She married William Mobry in 1988 and together they lived in Fairmont. She moved to Albert Lea in December 2016.

Bernice was a homemaker most of her life, but did work at Land O’Lakes in Albert Lea, Lakeview Nursing Home in the housekeeping department in Fairmont, and did housecleaning for several private families in the Fairmont area.

Preceding Bernice in death were her parents; husband, William Mobry; and daughter, June Malenke.

Bernice is survived by her daughters Susan (Jack) Donelan of Fergus Falls, Sharon (Bobby) Kelly of Watkins, Jane Thorson of Garner, Iowa, and Brenda Stenseth of Albert Lea; son, Bobby (Sue) Stenseth, of Spooner, Wisconsin; sisters Irene Nesset of Albert Lea, Marjorie Swartz of Albert Lea and Theresa Kuhlman of Tampa; brother, John Diesman, of Watertown; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services per Bernice’s request. Immediate family celebration will be at a later date.
