Memorial services for Carol Christenson, 68, of Albert Lea will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Shane Koepke will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.

Carol died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Carol Christenson was born Dec. 23, 1949, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Schultze) Christenson. She grew up in Robbinsdale and attended Louise Whitbeck Fraser School in Richfield, graduating in 1970. Carol was a member of ARC and worked for Cedar Valley Services.

She enjoyed watching movies, listening to Elvis, latch hook and shopping. Carol especially liked going out to eat and spending time with family.

Carol is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Beese; nieces Amy (Jamison) Cichosz and Kari (Jeff) Severson; nephew, Christian (Chelanie) Beese; great-nieces Mika Cichosz, and Brie, Severson and Allison Beese; and great-nephews Campbell Cichosz, Gavin Cichosz, Burke Cichosz and Beck Severson.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Anna; and brother-in-law, Gary Beese.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to ARC or the donor’s choice.
