Fire reported
A shed with straw bales in it was reported on fire at 4:15 p.m. Sunday at 30163 685th Ave. in the Hartland area. The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Hartland, Clarks Grove and Freeborn fire departments assisted on scene.
Online property records list Randy Hamson and Joni Hamson as the primary taxpayers of the address.
No injuries were reported.
Thefts, damage reported
A theft of a Power Wheels battery-operated blue truck was reported at 7:41 a.m. Monday at 1502 W. Clark St. The toy truck is valued at $300. No suspects were identified.
A report of someone breaking into a garage and taking items was made at 8:43 a.m. Monday at 222 N. Fourth Ave.
A burglary was reported at 2:49 p.m. Monday at 423 Adams Ave.
A Dodge Stratus was reported vandalized at 9:47 a.m. Monday at 506 Minnesota Ave.
An E-cigarette valued at $100 was reported missing at 9:13 p.m. Monday at Perkins, 2215 E. Main St.
A ladies’ gray Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen from an attached garage at 3:07 p.m. Monday at 111 N. Central Ave. in Geneva.
Assault reported
An assault report was filed at 4:07 p.m. Monday at 910 S. Broadway Ave. The suspect is known to the alleged victim.
Child abuse/neglect reported
Information from the Department of Human Services regarding a child abuse/neglect report was received at 11:35 a.m. Monday in Freeborn County.
