Wagner and Wiebke were presented with their awards at the 12th annual Golden Goldys on Monday night at TCF Bank Stadium.

A native of New Richland,  Wagner closed out her collegiate career as CoSIDA Academic Third-Team All-American and an Academic All-Big Ten selection this year.

On the court, she was an All-Big Ten First Team honoree this season after finishing second on the team with 18.7 points per game while also averaging 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. She made 101 3-pointers on the year, the second highest total in program history, while shooting better than 41 percent from beyond the arc.

Wagner finished her career ranked third all-time at Minnesota in scoring (2,215), second in 3-pointers made (307), 3-pointers attempted (880), field goal attempts (2,109) and games in double figures (114), fourth in field goals made (820), free throw percentage (.786) and career starts (124), and sixth in scoring average (17.2).

Wagner was selected by the Minnesota Lynx as the final pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft.

A native of Kasson, Wiebke is heading into the home stretch of his senior campaign after earning a Big Ten title and an All-America accolade in 2017.

As a junior, Wiebke won the Big Ten indoor mile with a time of 4:01.85 and later added a Second Team All-America honor as a member of Minnesota’s distance medley relay. A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Wiebke ranks third all-time at Minnesota in the indoor distance medley relay (9:30.48), fourth in the indoor mile (4:01.85) and seventh in the outdoor 4×800 meter relay (7:23.54).

Off the track, Wiebke served as Minnesota’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council president. Already a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection for the Gophers, he was selected as a 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team honoree.
