Colleen Thompson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Isaac Parsons of Custer, South Dakota, announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Everett and Karina Thompson of Clarks Grove and the granddaughter of the late Robert Thompson, Marian Thompson of Clarks Grove, and Raoul and Sandra Ortigoza of Monroeville, Pennsylvania. She is a 2012 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Sioux Falls, where she majored in entrepreneurial studies and media marketing.

The groom is the son of Bob and Lisa Parsons of Custer, South Dakota, and the late Cecil Parsons, the late Gladys Parsons, the late Walter Dunlap and the late Ione Dunlap. He is a 2008 graduate of Custer High School and a 2014 graduate of Black Hills State University, where he majored elementary education.

An Aug. 19, 2018, wedding is planned in Canton, South Dakota.
