Memorial services for Allan Paul Jensen will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. The Rev. Jamie Cameron will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Clarks Grove Cemetery.

Allan Paul Jensen was born to Merrill and Lily Jensen of Clarks Grove on Oct. 2, 1939, in Albert Lea. He passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at his home on the family farm.

Allan worked and lived his entire life on the Jensen family farm where he grew up.

Allan and his loving wife of 50 years, Darline, raised two beautiful daughters on the farm along with corn, beans, oats, alfalfa, beef cows and, up until 1988 — dairy cows. Allan drove milk truck for the Clarks Grove Creamery for several years until it ceased operations in 1995.

Allan enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his four-wheeler, mowing lawn, listening to polka music, satisfying his sweet tooth, talking with his grandchildren and simply being on the farm.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents Merrill and Lily Jensen; his brother, Elwood Jensen; brother-in-law, Duane Morreim; and son-in-law Daniel Halling.

Allan will be remembered by his loving wife, Darline; two daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Bryan Brighton of Plainview and their children Aurie, Keegan and Hope, and Judy and Thomas Jensen of Clarks Grove, and his children, Rachel and Sam; and siblings Millie Jensen (Elwood), Joyce and husband Burt Halvorson, twin brother, Adrian Jensen, Janice Morreim (Duane), Dennis and wife, Mary Jensen; as well as nieces and nephews.
