1 arrested for drugs

Albert Lea police arrested Mikaela Mae Martinez, 28, for driving after revocation,  gross misdemeanor fifth-degree methamphetamine possession and possession of hypodermic needles during a traffic stop at 6:55 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Third Street and Frank Avenue.

 

Theft, damages reported

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 9:03 a.m. Thursday at Farmers State Bank of Hartland, 1452 W. Main St.

A hood of a car was reported scratched at 9:16 a.m. Thursday at 504 James Ave. Damage was estimated at approximately $300.

A report of a window possibly being shattered by a weapon similar to a BB gun was made at 1:11 p.m. Thursday at 433 Maurice Ave. Damage was estimated at approximately $20.

A report of someone trying to break into a residence was made at 2:22 p.m. Thursday at 616 James Ave.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Olivia Rose Keesling, 24, on a local warrant at 11:49 a.m. Thursday at 404 Fountain St.

Police arrested Brandon David Stigney, 34, on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant after suspicious people were reported at 9:51 p.m. Thursday at 423 Court St. Stigney was expected to be charged with gross misdemeanor providing a false name to an officer.

 

Assault reported

A report of someone hitting a bartender over the head with a bottle was made at 12:33 a.m. Friday at the Nasty Habit, 134 W. William St. A suspect was identified.
