2 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Agustin Ramirez, 40, for first-degree driving while intoxicated and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation after a report of a silver SUV driving in and out of a ditch was made at 1:10 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Southeast Broadway Avenue and Margaretha Avenue. Ramirez reportedly had a blood-alcohol content of .16.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Rigobaldo Lopez Medina, 25, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and having no Minnesota driver’s license during a traffic stop at 5:43 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 780th Ave. Lopez Medina was arrested after a wrong-way driver was reported.

2 arrested for public intoxication

Police arrested Beau Clayton Dodge, 28, and Matthew Everett Rhiger, 32, for disorderly conduct at 2:49 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Clark Street and North Washington Avenue.

 

Mailbox damaged, items stolen

A Felt Verza Speed 50 bicycle valued at $580 was reported stolen at 8:11 a.m. Friday at 1418 Edina Ave.

A report of a black mother cat and five 2-week-old kittens missing from an open front porch was made at 11:22 a.m. Sunday at 620 Water St.

A report of a mailbox being hit was made at 8:38 a.m. Sunday at 89690 240th St. in eastern Freeborn County.

A report of items being stolen out of a garage and pole shed was made at 12:54 p.m. Sunday at 31151 670th Ave. in the Hartland area.

Items valued at approximately $10 were reported stolen at 9:24 a.m. Friday at 901 Luther Place.

Items were reported stolen from a picnic table next to a house at 1:17 p.m. Saturday at 1022 S. Newton Ave.

Three baskets of clothes were reported taken from  laundry at 8:10 p.m. Saturday at Express Coin Laundry, 1609 W. Main St.

A gas drive-off was reported at 10:27 p.m. Sunday at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St.

 

Child in need of protection reported

A report of a child in need of protection was filed at 3 p.m. Friday at 1006 Dunham St.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Nyayiech David Ruei, 21, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 5:36 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Front Street and Madison Avenue.
