The local Shinefest mission will host Community Sew Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bridge Community Church.

According to a press release, sewers are welcome to come for the day or as long as they are able. Participants are asked to bring a sewing machine, scissors, pins and any other supplies they may need, completed projects from last year and a snack or bag lunch.

The organization will have projects ready to be completed, including quilts, pillowcases, children’s clothing, crib sheets and personal care bags.
