Mary Jo (Ramsey) Posthumus, 71, of Lakeville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018.

She was preceded in death by parents Verle and Hazle  (Newlon) Ramsey and her brother, Daniel.

Mary Jo graduated from Albert Lea High School, St. Barnabas School of Nursing and Minneapolis School of Anesthesia. She loved her 47-year career as a nurse anesthetist. Her other great passion was riding and showing horses.

She is survived by husband of 48 years, Robert; many relatives and great friends.

A private funeral will take place with her immediate family. A celebration of Mary Jo’s life will take place at a future date.  Memorials are preferred to Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota.
