Court documents state Alger was charged after an officer with the Wells Police Department responded to a domestic assault the evening of April 21 in Wells. Alger was seen walking away from the residence.

The victim had blood on several areas of her face and chin and appeared to be bleeding from inside her mouth. She denied medical care.

Red marks were found on the victim’s throat, along with swelling and lacerations inside her mouth.

Alger was charged with aggravated robbery and simple robbery, but those charges were dismissed.

In a separate file, Alger was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse no-contact order violation, but that charge was dismissed at sentencing.
