1 arrested for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Cully Thomas Shierts for fifth-degree drug possession, driving after revocation and having no proof of insurance during a traffic stop at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and Main Street.

 

Thefts reported

A report of someone changing information on legal paperwork after a transaction was filed at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday at 1725 E. Main St.

A back door was reported kicked in and a television, Xbox and tools taken at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday at 715 S. First Ave.

 

Child in need of protection reported

A child in need of protection report was filed at 1:32 p.m. Wednesday in Albert Lea.
