1 arrested for drunken driving

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Sheldon Earl Milbridge, 54, for third-degree driving while intoxicated in a commercial vehicle, violating an alcohol restriction and speeding during a traffic stop at 7:23 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 35 north of the Interstate 90 intersection.

 

2 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Derek Allan Rothmeier, 22, for domestic assault and an harassment restraining order violation after a domestic situation was reported at 2:59 a.m. Sunday at 504 James Ave.

Police arrested Troy Allan Dahl, 52, for misdemeanor domestic assault after a report he punched someone he knew in the face and pushed her down stairs was filed at 10:04 a.m. Sunday at 922 Ramsey St.

 

3 cited for violations

Police cited Seth Donald Thompson, 18, for disorderly conduct after a domestic situation was reported at 10:14 a.m. Saturday at 1427 Academy Ave.

Police cited Christina Marie Jepson, 30, for disorderly conduct after a report Jepson was on someone else’s property was filed at 6:36 a.m. Sunday at 604 Giles Place.

Police cited a 16 year old for drug paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop at 10:18 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Frank Avenue and East Front Street.

 

Items stolen

Police cited a juvenile for theft after a report of someone shoplifting from a booth was filed at 1:59 p.m. Saturday at 900 Hammer Road.

A light-brown Honda vehicle was reported stolen at 2:58 p.m. Friday at 2708 Bridge Ave. The vehicle was recovered early Saturday afternoon.

A snowmobile trailer was reported stolen at 1:31 p.m. Friday at 1022 S. Newton Ave.

A report of Klonopin, a brand name for Clonazepam, being stolen was filed at 10:41 p.m. Sunday at 717 Freeborn Ave.

Rugs from a post office were reported missing at 10:17 a.m. Friday at 206 Fourth Ave. in Freeborn.

A report of $500 in gift cards and cash being stolen from a vehicle in an alley was filed at 10:10 p.m. Friday.

 

Fight reported

A fight was reported at 3:24 p.m. Friday at Freeborn County jail, 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Juvenile problem reported

A report of children “breaking many windows” inside a former school building was filed at 12:28 a.m. Sunday at 400 Fifth Ave. in Freeborn.
