Leola Stolaas, 1928-2018

A graveside funeral service for Leola A. Stolaas of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, formerly of Albert Lea, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery with Bruce Stolaas to officiate. There will be a fellowship time and a salad luncheon served in the multi-purpose room at Knutson Place, 801 Luther Place, following the ceremony.
Leola died of natural causes Friday, Oct. 11, 2018, just short of being 90 years old.
She was born Oct. 29, 1928, in Owatonna to Ludwig Schultz and Marie (Pump) Schultz, along with three other sisters and six brothers.
Leola married Charles H. Stolaas on March 28, 1948. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, reading, gardening, music and life on the farm.
Survivors include her children Robert (Jeanne) Stolaas of Huntsville, Alabama, and Victoria (Bruce) Olson of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters Hilda Sellner and Shirley Nelson; and brother, Don Schultz; along with several nieces and nephews.
