My wife and I have lived next door to Vern Rasmussen and his family for the past 18 years, and we could not ask for better neighbors. He and his family exemplify respectability, hard work and honesty. Vern is always very caring, concerned and helpful whenever needed. We’ve seen the complete and faithful dedication Vern gives to his family, his work and, of course, our city.

We have appreciated Vern’s interest in asking for input from friends, neighbors and citizens, and talking through various issues our city is dealing with.

We appreciate all the good work the city has accomplished under Vern’s leadership. With just one example being all the infrastructure improvements in our city, that includes the downtown renovations. These improvements have most certainly revitalized our previously dying historic heart of the city.

As a business owner, we appreciate the economic activity and the progress the city has been continually making to improve our wonderful community.

We support Vern in continuing to work toward improvements and seeing through the many initiatives he is very involved with. We wholeheartedly support re-electing Vern Rasmussen for mayor.
