Lori Beighley, 1955-2018

A memorial service for Lori Beighley will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Kurt Farrell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.

Loretta “Lori” Beighley, 63, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at Woodbury Health Care Center.

She was born March 15, 1955, to parents Albert and JoAnn (Balfe) Stegenga in Albert Lea. Lori was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea and a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and continued her education at Riverland Community College.

Lori was a pharmacy technician at Snyder’s Drug Store in Albert Lea for over 25 years. She then went on to work for 10 years at Fleet Guard. Lori was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and a proud supporter of the Humane Society. In her free time Lori enjoyed riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spending time with her dog and her family.

Survivors include her mother, JoAnn Stegenga; daughter and son-in-law Shelly and Scott Freemyer; grandchildren Erin and Trevor; brothers Dan Stegenga, Ron (Wendy) Stegenga and Jim (Chris) Stegenga; her dog, Oscar; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Albert; stillborn baby, Crystal; and her beloved dogs.
