Grandma’s Gourmets started producing the Strawberry + Balsamic + Black Pepper Jam this season. It is a twist on the strawberry and balsamic classic pairing adding black pepper for a hint of spice, lemon zest for a hint of tart and basil for an herbal note. This is the first time Grandma’s Gourmets has competed in the preserve category, having won in the pickle category the last two years.

“This proves I am not just a one-trick pony,” business owner Kim Olson said. “It is so exciting to see just how far we have come with our products, our team and our growth. It would be so exciting to have another national win for all of the people involved in the crazy adventure that is Grandma’s Gourmets.”
