Funeral services for Mary Jean Woodford, 75, of Austin will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Dwight Netzer will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Mary died Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Our House in Austin.

Mary Jean Woodford was born July 26, 1943, in Waseca, the daughter of Elmer and Delila (Schumaker) Tesch. She grew up in Wells, Minnesota Lake and Kiester. On June 20, 1963, Mary was united in marriage to Douglas Woodford. The couple later divorced. She worked a variety of jobs over the years, including at Green Giant, Birdseye and Hollandale Marketing Association. Mary enjoyed music — especially country music, and attending concerts at Edgewater Park. She loved celebrating birthdays and spending holidays with family. She would regularly give blood and was helpful to people in need.

Mary is survived by her son, Clinton Woodford; sister, Athelene (Ken) Gerber; brother, Delmar Schnoor; nephew, Michael (Malissa) Schnoor, and their children Veronica, Jazzten and James; niece, Michelle (James) Stubkjaer, and their children Emma, Isabella, Sophie and Jakob; niece, Donna (Randy) Saltou, and their children Roger and Reina; niece, Diane (Jeffrey) Schmidt, and their children Justin (Natalie) Schmidt and Amber (Chad) Vittorio and their children Carson and Corinne; and niece-in-law, Cheryl Farris, and her son, Cody.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Delila; former husband, Douglas; daughter-in-law, Karen Woodford; grandparents Fred and Elsa Schumaker; sister-in-law, Marilyn Schnoor; and nephew, Daniel Farris.
