Theodore Stevermer

Theodore John was born July 20, 1936, in Walnut Lake Township, Faribault County, the son of Rudolph and Evelyn (Peterson) Stevermer. Ted was a graduate of Wells-Easton High School’s class of 1954. Ted married Lorraine Dawson on Nov. 11, 1967, in Easton.

Ted farmed and worked at Blue Coach in Stokely and at Green Giant for the pea pack. After retiring in 1981 from factory work, he helped local farmers and continued to farm on his own. Ted was the superintendent of the poultry barn at the Faribault County Fair for many years. Ted knew a lot of bird species, and while driving by a lake or pond would pull out his binoculars and see what kind of birds or ducks were on the water. He loved his animals and attending county fairs.
